Our sleepy little guy!

I was looking through some of our most recent pictures and discovered a theme. It seems like I'm always snapping photos of Benjamin when he's very sleepy. I can't help it, he's just so darn cute when he's all droopy eyed. This one below was taken while we were on our Disney trip, so you can understand why he's looking so exhausted. Benjamin just loves pillows. Even when he's not necessarily tired, he'll still always lay his head down if you give him a pillow. It's the cutest thing in the world. Benjamin is such a mellow child. When he wants something, he never just screams, it's like a little uh,uh. It almost makes me think he's trying to say "hey Mom, don't forget me over here". He definitely his the little darling of the family, and gets plenty attention from his siblings as well.
This is a favorite spot for Benjamin. He hates it when I'm getting ready. He thinks he's being ignored. So I usually let him sit in my sink will I'm doing my makeup. He loves being up on my level. Of course playing with Mom's make up brushes are also a big plus. If he doesn't grow out of this phase soon, he's going to know way to much about makeup application!
I think Kirk has inherited Dan's trickster gene's. From what I understand, Dan was a real tease when he was little. Kirk has started holding Benjamin's pajama feet so he can't crawl. The other day I over heard Kirk copying everything Kate was saying, just to get her mad. I don't know where on earth he learned that copying someone can be the most annoying thing in the world. I just told Kate that the less reaction she gives to his teasing, the less he'll want to tease her. Then I heard he say "Kirk you can copy me, I really don't care". Needless to say he stopped, and I haven't heard him try it again. It's amazing to watch our children grow into little people with their own distinct personalities. Our children are all so different, and yet we blend as a family so well. I couldn't even imagine our home with out Kate's sweetness, Kirk's excitement, and Benjamin's warm smiles and adorable sounds.
