We have a new neighbor. A little bird familiy has made a nest and laid a tiny blue egg with brown speckles. The two birds seem like an odd pair, becuase they don't look like the same species. I'm not sure what kind of birds they are, but they both are faithful at sitting on their egg. They rarely ever leave the nest. When we get to close to the nest the birds fly off of the egg and start to cherp like crazy at us. I've taken the hint and I try to keep the kids away from the front bush. The bird doesn't seem to mind me taking pictures of it from inside the house. This picture is the view from my dinning room window. The kids enjoy pulling up a chair to bird watch. She just seems to stare right back at them.
