What a fun filled Thanksgiving weekend!

We just had such a fun weekend. We had Thanksgiving at my Parents house this year. My sister from Colorado came in to visit, and it was so much fun for my kids to be able to play with their cousins. They really love seeing their cousins from out of state. Dinner was awesome. My Mom is a great cook, and the turkey was so moist and Delicious. We also had my favorite sweet potatoes. They are so terribly unhealthy that I'll only eat them once a year on thanksgiving, but they totally melt in your mouth, they are a dream. I found myself salivating just thinking about it right before we ate. I had gone for a 4 mile run in the mountains that morning so I was starving for Thanksgiving dinner.

After dinner we all stayed and visited for awhile. We always love to just stay up and talk for hours with my family. Then of course we had to get out the ads. I'm a black Friday shop-aholic.

I love getting the deals. We needed a new camcorder. Our old one had broke, and poor little Benjamin hasn't had any baby video taken of himself since his birth. I had done my homework, and knew which one I wanted. It was on sale at Best Buy for 69$ off. They open at 5:00am. I decided that I wasn't going to stand in the cold for hours, so I got to the store five minutes before they opened. There was a line that stretched around the entire building. I was doubtful that I'd end up getting one. They usually don't carry very many of the door busters, but I decided to still stay and see. I actually got the last one on the shelf. I was totally excited! Then I went to Joann's for a new Christmas tree, and then target for some toys. At target I wanted to get a remote control car for Kirk, but they had been long gone for quite awhile. As I was walking out of the store I spotted one randomly sitting to the side, like someone had changed their mind and just set it down. I snatched it up, and bought it. I was really excited about that. It's such fun when you get a good deal like that!

Then Friday we went to SLC to see the christmas lights with my sister and her family. We decided to ride trax down. Our kids have never been on trax before, and they we really excited to try it out. It worked out really well, we were able to sit and visit on the way down, and the kids got to spend some extra time with their cousins as well. We really enjoyed seeing the lights, and the afterwards got some dinner. It was a really fun day!

Then Saturday I took Kate to see Ballet West Nutcracker. We went with all of the girls. My sister in law Shauntel and her daughter Alexandra, and my sister Kristen and her daughter Caroline. Kate loved it! All of the girls were able to pick out an ornament. Kate picked a ballerina one. She has named her Clara. (By the way if anybody knows of a good ceramic glue clara's arm as broken off, and needs reaparing).

Then that night we went to Dan's parents to decorate gingerbread houses. That is a family tradition that we do every year. It's been alot of fun.

So as you can see our weekend was chuck full of fabulous memories. It's time to get back to reality now, I've got some laundry to catch up on!

What we are thankful for

Tonight for family night we talked about what we are thankful for. It's amazing to think of all of the bounteous blessings the Lord has bestowed us. I'm so greatful to have been born into the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This gospel has brought so much peace, and joy into my life. I'm so blessed to live in this country, with so many freedoms. I'm so blessed to be able to have three healthy beautiful children. I am so grateful to be married to Dan. He is such a good person who truly motivates me to be better each day. I'm so grateful to be able to stay home with our children and be there for them every second of every day. I also am grateful for Dan's job. In the economic times that we live in I'm so grateful that the company Dan works for is still pressing forward, and doing well. These are a few of my thoughts, here's what the children said:

Kate:"I'm grateful for the whole world. I'm grateful for flowers, butterflies, and rainbows. I'm grateful for my family, cousins, friends, toys, and Christmas."

Kirk:"I'm thankful for the Pilgrims and Indians. I'm thankful for my knights, Grandma and Grandpa, Dinosaurs, show and tell pass".

I'm no sure what a show and tell pass is but I think they do it at his preschool.

Dan reported that he was thankful for his family, Christ's atonement, the gospel, sports, and food.

If Benjamin could talk I'm sure that he'd say that he's grateful for his binkie, his bottle, and of course a mom who wakes up at 1:00 am to feed him every night.

This time of year I hope we can all thank God for our many bounteous blessings which have come from his hand. May we all have a wonderful thanksgiving with our friends and family.

Preschool Adventures

The kids have loved going to their preschools this year. Kate and Kirk attend two different ones, the same days of the week, and at the same time. This makes it easy for me to get my errands done while they are there. This week Kate and Kirk both had some fun experiences at preschool. On Wednesday Kirk's preschool went to the tree house museum. We were lucky to make it there on time. Benjamin's diaper leaked all over my jeans just as we were about ready to leave from the preschool teachers home. I had to rush home and change my pants, and Benjamin's diaper. Despite the crazy start it turned out to be a lot of fun. It was good to have this Field trip to force me to take the kids out. I tend to just like to stay home since having three small kids in tow is abit of a workout.Then today Kate had her Thanksgiving party at her school. All of the kids were asked to dress up like a Indian or a pilgrim. This morning I woke up and decided to get on line to figure out an idea for a costume. I decided to make an old stained white table cloth into a little apron for her. My mom had a cute white pioneer bonnet which was perfect. It turned out adorable. I made the apron big so that she could wear it into elementary school if she needed to. She wore jeans and a black sweater underneath it. I was a little disappointed when I dropped her off. She was the only kid in her class that dressed up like a pilgrim. There were a few boys with paper feather headbands, but none of the girls were wearing costumes. Kate said that everyone liked her costume, but I think it would have been more fun if she wouldn't have been the only one. I am so excited for thanksgiving this year. I love this time of year it's so festive. Here are also some cute pictures of Benjamin, you gotta love naked baby in the tub pictures! I bought Kirk some new boots at Sam's club yesterday. I've never seen a kids get so excited over new boots before. He said "I just can't wait to show my teacher my new boots". He put his hand inside them to feel the soft fur lining. "He said theses are so soft"! After trying them on the said "Mommy these are the nicest boots I've ever seen"!

I have been trying to keep my blog updated, but time just keeps slipping by. We are approaching mid November now, and it feels like we just barely moved in. Today while I was feeding Benjamin a bottle, I was thinking about how quickly he's grown. He's starting to get into that ready to crawl any day now position. It would be amazing if he crawled this soon since our other two didn't start until they were almost one. I can't believe that the first birthday for our little guy is creeping up just around the corner. He's seven months old now so that makes him more than half way to one years old. It's funny how with my first baby I was always looking forward to the next stage. I couldn't wait for her to sit up, crawl, and eventually walk. I was ecstatic when she started talking, and learning new words. With Benjamin I've been totally the opposite. I'm dreading the next stage. I don't want him to grow up. It seems like he's growing way to fast. I'd be perfectly content for him to stay seven months for about three more months. I need to just relish every second with him. It's funny how time just seems to speed up as you have more children. I've decided that it's because I've needed to divide my time between three kids instead of putting all of my focus and attention on one. If any Mother has discovered the trick of how to have more time during the day please let me know. Until then I'll just have to try to enjoy Benjamin in every brief moment of everyday. Thank goodness for pictures. I feel like through pictures I can keep a part of my babies with me always, even after their all grown up!

The kids have been counting down the days till Halloween. They were so excited to go out trick or treating. Kate really got into and was running from house to house. The rest of us had a hard time keeping up with her go getter trick or treat ambition. We made the mistake of going down the big hill in the neighborhood. That meant we had to hike up it when the kids were all tired out. I think next year we'll go up the hill first and save the down hill for the end when they're running out of gas. All in all the kids got plenty of candy. I think the kids might need some help with getting all their candy eaten, I"ll gladly oblige! After trick or treating it was time to make visits. We went to Dan's parents house first. It was right on our trick or treating route this year. Dan's parents home sit directly behind our home. After some snacking, and visiting we headed to my parents home. I made a pumpkin cake for dessert. It all turned out to be a lot of fun.

Mower family publicity

Last week we had quite alot of publicity. If you read my earlier post about seeking out the H1N1 vaccine, the story doesn't end there. Last week I heard that they were administering the vaccine at the Davis Conference Center. I was told that they would be getting around 30,000 vaccines. I thought that meant 30,000 for Davis county, but it must have been for the entire state, because they ran out in just a couple of hours. I pulled up to the center at 12:30. Apparently they had ran out sometime just after 12:00. I decided to park and take the kids in anyway to check it out. I was hoping to use Benjamin who's just a little baby as leverage to help me get one of the last ones. As we were walking in I spotted the news crew for channel 2 there. The reporter asked me to tell my story, so I did. I then turned around to take the kids back to the car, and a guy followed me out and offered to give us the last three child vaccines. I was totally shocked. I actually had no idea the the news crew was still shooting. When I watched in on the evening news I was actually surprised at how dramatic it all looked on camera. A Mom with a young baby, and two small kids in tow being turned away for the flu shot, and then just as I'm putting the kids back into the mini van about to drive away in defeat, I get them after all! It's a good thing that we got them to because the swine flu's been going around our ward, this week. The kids so far are holding up well. Let's just keep our fingers crossed. They actually have to have a booster vaccine to get complete immunity, and I still haven't gotten their regular flu shots yet. Our clinic actually ran out of those a few weeks ago. Here is a picture that was published in the Standard Examiner the following day. I thought it turned out really cute. I couldn't believe that out of the thousands of people who showed up we ended up on the news, and in the news paper. It was a pretty fun to watch myself and the kids on the news. Kirk kept saying, "were on T.V."?

Yummy bread and soup night

Okay since we didn't have heat for a couple of days I've been craving a childhood favorite meal; broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl. Since this craving came on about 3:00 this afternoon I had to improvise a bit. This is my very favorite bread recipe given to me by my sister Kristen. She is the talented chief in the family. So I'm graciously passing it on to all of my blogging buddies out there and hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Peasant Bread
2 1/4 tea. yeast (I use saf instant)
2 cups warm water
1 Tbs. sugar
2 tea. salt
4 cups flour

Mix ingredients in this order, then let rise for one hour. Pull out of bowl, divide into two rounds. Place on a cooking sheet with a little bit of olive oil underneath it. Then let rise for another hour. Place in preheated oven at 425 degrees for 10 min. Then reduce heat to 375 and bake for 15 more min.

You can cover with any sort of Italian seasoning, or Parmesan cheese if desired.

It's the perfect bread to accompany soup or pasta.

It's sooo cccccold!

Okay so what does it mean when your cold, and turn on the furnace, and more cold air comes out of the vents? We definitely have some kind of a heating issue at our house. It's a good thing we have a fireplace, that at least keeps our room toasty. I've got the furnace guy coming tomorrow so until then we'll just have bundle up, and drink hot cocoa to stay warm. At least this happened in October. I'd hate to see how cold it would get in the middle of January. How did the pioneers survive? Well so anyway I was letting the kids eat their cereal up in my bedroom since it's the warmest room in the house. The next thing I hear is Kate saying "Mom Kirk just stuck his feet into my cereal". Honestly, I can't believe some of the things that kid thinks up. I went up stairs and he was hiding under my blanket. He pops his head out and says, "Mom it was an accident". When things happen by accident the kids don't get time out. It seems like more and more accidents are happening!

Hope fully we'll have some heat soon!

Kirk's Feild trip to the grocery store

Okay, so going to the grocery store isn't exactly a novelty for my kids. We usually go every single week. So when I was planning on going to the store for Kirk's preschool feildtrip, I wasn't expecting it to be much more fun. I was wrong. I have to admit that it was really cute seeing 10 sweet little preschoolers explore a grocery store. We got to go behind the scenes, and see parts of the store that only workers usually go. Plus Kirk got a bunch of free stuff, and it's always fun to get something for free! I got a couple of cute pictures. Kirk loved it. I have to say that three years old is my all time favorite age for children. He is still so sweet and totally innocent. He gets excited over any tiny little thing, and best of all he still needs his mommy. The other day he kept saying "Mommy, am I cute"? I would say yes you are very cute. Then he would say "Mommy am I smart"? and I'd say yes you are very smart. The sad thing is that he's growing so fast. He's halfway to four already. Don't get me wrong four is great too, but I just love being the center of a three year old's world. It seems like once they hit four it's out with Mom, and in with all the cool friends. I have to always ask Kate to hug me before she leaves for school, and then it's like a half hug. My favorite part of my day is when I pick Kirk up from preschool. He comes running to me full speed and gives me the biggest hug ever. He is one special little guy, and I love him so much!

New beautiful family pictures

I just couldn't wait to post these pictures. We had our family pictures done a few weeks ago. Family photos are one of those love hate relationships. I love the result, but getting it can feel like a marathon. First there's finding a good photographer. Thanks Alison for making that part easy. Next there's the picking out the clothes. I didn't want to spend a fortune buying new things, so I spent sometime digging through closets. Finally the actual day of trying to keep three young kids clean, happy, and smiling, all at the same time. Thank goodness we had such a patient talented friend to photograph us. Trust me we weren't easy subjects to work with, especially Kirk. He had fallen asleep on the way to the photo session. When we woke him up he was tired and upset. Finally I told him that I'd buy him a new star wars toy if he'd smile.....hence the big cheese in a couple of the shots. That was the best $6.77 I ever spent! I love the way all of the pictures turned out and I know that I'll cherish them for years to come.

It's a better day

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm feeling okay now about the whole flu shot thing. I'm going to keep trying to find them, but it's not like the kids are going to die if they don't get one right away. I just wanted to post a picture of Benjamin, he is getting cuter everyday. Also Kate came home from a birthday party with this really cute robot. I thought if anybody was planning a B-day party it's super cute. Kate has loved it. I have to confess I ate the robots feet. Reese's cups are my favorite. I didn't think the kids would notice. Kirk noticed immediately. Wow kids don't miss a thing.

A frustrating Day ( I needed to vent )

Have you ever felt like you're running around like crazy, totally exhausted, and still not getting a single thing accomplished? Well that's exactly the way I've felt so far this week. I began a hopeless pursuit for flu shots. Monday Dan came home and said that a co-worker had the swine flu. I freaked out. I couldn't believe that the virus was hitting so close to home. The next day I got onto the phone and tried calling the county health department in search of the H1N1 vaccine. On the message it said that the H1N1 vaccine would be available that day. I hurried and got the kids ready, jumped into the car and headed down. When we got there they said that they actually didn't have the vaccine's after all. I was SO upset. Then I tried calling several places to try to find just the regular flu shot. Our clinic was out. I kept calling around until I found a clinic 20 minutes away which had some baby vaccines left still. I explained on the phone that our regular pediatrician's office had run out. She made me an appointment and promised he could have one if I followed up for his booster shot. As soon as Dan got home from work I drove 20 min. to the clinic. Once I got there the receptionist absolutely refused to let Benjamin get one. I couldn't believe it. I explained that I had an appointment, and insurance, and was willing to pay a co-payment if he needed to see the doctor first. She just flatly said that I couldn't be seen. She said that they weren't a flu clinic, and if they gave out all of their flu shots they'd run out for their own patients. So I said that I had an appointment, and I'd gladly have Benjamin become a patient. How hard is it to make up a chart, and let me see the Doc. for 5 seconds. She lied to me and said that there wasn't a Doc in. I said who are all these sick people seeing? She said that they had an appointment. I said so do I! She said you don't have an appointment with the doctor, just a flu shot appointment. I said I drove all the way from Layton because your receptionist said I could get a flu shot, couldn't you work me in? She said no. (I've worked in a doctors office before, it's easy to work in a quick visit). The most annoying thing was that I had a legitimate appointment. I thoroughly explained that the clinic that I regularly go to had run out when I made it. The office manager could have at least been nice about it. She made me feel like I was trying to steal a flu shot or something. After I left I cried in my car. I think if it hadn't been for the earlier vaccine fiasco, I wouldn't have taken it so hard. I felt like I was trying so hard, and failing miserably. Now when I hear on the news about how important it is to get the flue shot this season I feel like screaming back at it, "IF IT'S SO IMPORTANT WHY IS THERE SUCH A SHORTAGE OF THE DARN THINGS." There now I feel much better, it's always good to vent about frustrating situations!
Other than that crazy day we are really doing great overall. It's amazing how the days can seem long, but the weeks just fly by! I can't believe that it's almost the weekend again. I told myself that October was the month I'd buckle down and start really organizing the house, but it's looking like that project will have to wait until next year. I have how ever begun my Christmas shopping. Dan hates it when I start early. I inevitably end up finding toys and items later on in the season thus their list of Christmas presents get bigger, and bigger. I think shopping for toys is by far the most fun. I'd rather shop for toys for the kids over clothes for myself any day. I've posted some cute pictures of the kids.

More Cute Pictures

I put this picture front and center it's my new favorite of the baby. He's sitting up now, but he's a little wobbly. I put him in the laundry basket so he can't tip and bump his head. He was so happy to just sit in it!

There isn't really anything new going on. I was just thinking about how fast the kids are growing. Benjamin will be six months old in just a couple of days. Wow, in just six more months he'll be one! The first year is always so much fun with so many important milestones. He just said his first word about a week ago. It was Ma Ma Ma. It melts my heart when ever he says it. It's usually when he's crying and needs comfort, which makes me think he really knows that he's trying to say. He is still a perfect angel. He only cries when he's really hungry, or tired. He is so mild, and easy. He smiles at everyone. He is definitely a charmer. As for Kirk, we found out he really did have Mono. I was so shocked, I still can't imagine where he was exposed to it. My best guess is school. I still need to get the kiddos in for their flu shots this year. I'm terrified with the swine flu going around, and with a young baby at home. I've bought some disinfectant spray, I just need to remember to spray it around more often. Finally Kate participated in her primary program on Sunday. She looked adorable, and did a really great job. She had a part and bravely gave it on the pulpit on front of the whole ward. My camera's battery died, and I didn't recharge it in time to get photo's. But I'm really proud of her

Can you see Dan inside that hole? It's the tank for our water fall. Dan was Mr. fix it and repaired a part that went to it. Way to go sweetie, you fixed something! (just kidding).

I've been such a slacker at blogging lately

Okay, just a quick update about what we've been up to lately. The last few weeks have just flown by so fast. Last week Kirk was really, really sick. It's still a mystery about what he had. His strep test came back negative. We are still waiting to see if it was mono. I'm hoping the dr. should get the test results soon. So between sick kids, and trying to get into a routine now with two preschoolers I haven't had much time for blogging. Here are just a few cute pictures of the kids I've taken lately.

Benjamin couldn't get any more cute, or sweet. He is the angel of the family! He's always there generously giving smiles to everyone who catches his eye. I wish I could just freeze him like this and keep my blue eyed baby boy forever little.

Silly picture of Kirk. He climbed into Benjamin's high chair. He thought it was really funny until he realized that being in a high chair isn't as great as it looks since he can't climb out by himself. He's going through this funny stage where he pretends to be a baby alot. It's fun to play along. I love three years old. He's still young and imaginative, yet old enough to be out of diapers, and be more independent.

Kate's Tea Party

Like I said earlier, August and the first week of September are busy. We had our anniversary, Dan's birthday, and now Kate's Birthday. We did a little girls tea party yesterday for her. She had been looking forward to it for weeks. I hope it lived up to her expectations. I worked really hard on everything. I don't have time to blog a long description (the house is in total post party havoc right now). I'm excited to post the adorable pictures.

The tea party table turned out so sweet. I borrowed the chair covers, and satin table cloth from my sister in law, I found all of the china tea cups at the DI.

Do ya think I should be blogging when our family room looks like this?



I let the kids make this "tent" yesterday. Then they wanted to bring up a "few" toys to play with in the tent. As you can see a few toys turned into a huge mess. Kate begged me not to take it down, so this mess with live to see another day at least.

This weekend was super busy, but fun. Dan turned 32 on Saturday. We also had a ward luau that night. The food was fabulous and later they had Polynesian dancer's come. Dan was called up to shake it with them. He did a good job!

Since the party was Saturday, we celebrated Dan's Birthday on Sunday. I made Dan's favorite dinner; Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, and fruit. We invited his parents, and my parents over to eat with us. Then the rest of the family came for some cake and ice cream. It was a little crazy because right when everyone got there the lights went out. We still had the party, we just talked in the dark. Luckily we had a handy dandy emergency preparedness lantern Dan's mom had given to us for Christmas a few years ago!

I made Dan blow out thirty two candles. Even though the cake got a bit waxy, I think that blowing out the number candles is just cheating. He actually did it in one breath, what lung capacity!

The kids made this "tent" yesterday, then they wanted to bring a "few" toys from the basement. A few turned into about fifty tiny toys. Kate has begged me not to take it down, so it looks like the family room disatster will to see another day. It's funny how I thought a play room would solve the messy toy problem, but the kids want to play were ever I am. They follow me were ever I go, and the toys tend to follow the kids. Hence the messy family room. I'm super excited for the kids to start preschool so that they can release some of their messy creativity someplace other than the family rooom.

This past weekend was a busy, but really fun one. Dan turned 32 on Saturday. We also had a big ward luau that night. It was fabuous. I felt like I was at an actual luau. The food was awesome, and then later they had polynisian dancers come. Dan got to go up there and shake it with them. Because of the party, with celebrated Dan's birthday Sunday night. I invited Dan's parents, and my parents over for dinner. Then afterwards Dan's siblings all came for some cake and ice cream. It was really crazy because just as everybody got here, the lights went out. Everbody still stayed, we just had to talk in the dark.

I was just thinking how quickly the year has past. I remember last year just buying a cake for Dan becauswe I was pregnant, and to sick and tired to cook. My how glad I am that I'm done with that pregnancy, and that our sweet baby is here! Benjamin will be 5 months this week, and it's amazing how quickly he's growing.

Kirk's new do!

I'm just squeezing in a quick post. I really should be downstairs on the treadmill, but I wanted to post Kirk's cute new haircut (thanks so much Wendy). He was is dire need of one. I thought his hair was starting to look like a mop. I always put it off as long as I possibly can. He hates having his hair cut sooooo much. He cries, and won't hold still. He's ten times worse at the salon, so I usually try to snip a few pieces here and there just at home. With preschool starting in a week, I thought it would be nice to start out the year with a good cut, not my haphazard snips. I took him over to my sister in law's house. She cuts her four little boys hair, and is a kid's cut expert. We gave him a treat, turned on a movie, and even with all that bribery, we barely eeked out a cut. (Granted his hair was so long, that it really annoyed him. It was falling into his face, poor kid). I think he looks so cute with it. I love styling it now. I'm going to try the spiky look. Let's hope that his hair doesn't grow too fast. I want this look to last.

Also yesterday we saw this little creature crawling across our driveway. Luckily I'm not afraid of snakes.

Okay so I'm playing catch up. We went to the Davis County fair grounds last week, that was actually before Dan's birthday dinner, but I'm blogging this out of order. We heard that the alligator show at the fair was worth seeing, so Dan took off work early and we headed to the fair grounds. Everybody was right, the show lived up to our expectations. This alligator show was really impressive. I was surprised at how aggressive the alligator really was. I was expecting his jaws to be wired shut, but this guy wrestled with him without any safety measures. The alligator even snapped at his hand. I know that the kids had a great time. After watching the show we went and saw the animals, and let the kids pick out a little prize. Kirk insisted on getting a cowboy hat. He's been really into Cowboys ever since aspen grove. At first we couldn't find a blue one, which would have been devastating! Luckily a booth worker went and got some more blue ones to put out for sale. Kate picked out some lip gloss which she was really thrilled about. She's a girl after my own heart, she loves lip gloss. The kid's also went on a ride. I say "a ride", because we only had enough cash for one. It was a dollar per ride. Luckily I happened to have two dollars in change at the bottom of my purse. I was glad to get rid of some pennies. Finally we finished off the night by eating pizza. It really was fun, the whole family enjoyed the night. I'd love to make this a new tradition.

It's been almost a month since I've blogged! I just have to say that I've been a little busy. August at the Mower home is celebration city. We started the month off with a super fun anniversary trip. Yes Dan and I have been together six years now. It doesn't really sound that long, but having three kids doesn't exactly leave a couple with newlywed status. It's amazing how life whizzes by. Reminiscing back on all the fun, gushy lovey dovey feelings I had for Dan when I first married him has been fun. It's interesting how marriage works. You begin your new life together thinking that your in a total fairytale. As Dan and I have worked at our marriage I realize that the love I feel for him now is so much stronger than what it was six years ago. We've seen each other at our best and our worst, laughed, cried, and everything in between. We are forming a history together, full of memories. He is such apart of me that it's almost impossible to imagine my life without him. We were able to celebrate with a little get away. Dan surprised me at Christmas with a night at the anniversary inn. We went to the one in Logan. Since it is so close to Bear lake we went there first for a night also.

Dan's awesome Dad took Kate and Kirk. We kept the baby, he was such a little angel, he wasn't a problem at all. It was so nice to only be woken up once by the baby to eat, instead of 4 times like we usually are. Kate and Kirk are usually up to get a drink, or climb in bed with us, or need comforting from a scary dream, throughout the night. The room was awesome, and the bed was soooo comfy. I was able to coax Dan into watching Twilight with me. He's never seen it, he didn't even know the plot. I was surprised that he actually liked it. I guess there was enough suspense to keep him interested. It will also be Dan's birthday on the 22nd. Dan's parents took us to dinner tonight. It's a tradition we always look forward to every year. He chose Ruby River. I was excited since steak is one of my favorites. We got a cute family picture. Benjamin had just gotten his shots that morning, so he didn't have the greatest time. Bless his heart he is such a good baby, we are so lucky to have him.
