No St. George Marathon for me this year!

Okay so I found out last Friday that I didn't get picked to run in St. George. I was actually shocked. I knew it would be about 50/50 chance, but I really thought I'd get picked. I was really disappointed at first but I'm fine now. With the refunded marathon fee, I went out and did a little retail therapy. I bought some curtains for my kitchen windows. The weekend was great though. I love mother's day. It was wonderful. Dan made me breakfast and got the kids all ready for church, and even made a cake all before 8:30 am! It was so nice to have him home on Sunday morning to help. Then He and his Dad and brother in-law made our families dinner. After that we headed to my Mom's to visit. I received some lovely gifts, and am so blessed to have such darling children. After church Kirk was excited to tell me something. He said "Mommy I need to tell you a secret," then he whispered in my ear "you are my angel". It was the cutest. The kids showered me with cards, hugs, and kisses. I LOVE MOTHER'S DAY!
