Kirk's impromptu Primary Talk

Okay so I probably wouldn't be nominated as the Mother of the year because I forgot about Kirk's primary talk. I seriously can't recall that Kirk had an assignment to speak in primary today. So the primary teacher asked Kirk if he had a talk ready and he says "yes". He gets up to the microphone ans says "I really like my toys, I like playing with pirates, and I like transformers, but I don't like Star Wars anymore.....ect...." they had to stop him and say thank you Kirk for sharing this with us. I heard all of this third hand of course. Someone told Dan's Mom at church and then she called and told us about it. I was mortified. I can't believe I sent him with out a prepared talk. You do have to give him credit though, for a sunbeam to stand up unprepared and talk in front of the whole primary all by himself. I guess I'm just relived he only talked about the toys he likes and not something more embarrassing! I just had to blog about this cute little story before I forgot. I'll be blogging about the sales conference that I went on with Dan a little later when I have some more time. In the meantime I'm making a new commitment to try to not forget important things like my children's primary talks. With Kirk's personality he might be sharing alittle bit toooo much info.
