I know this is a little out of order but that seems to be the way my life is right now, out of order. We are trying to figure out how to live with one car since our van breaks down every couple of weeks. It's a little scary to drive somewhere and say a little prayer each time I turn the key hoping the van will start. You also know it's time to get a new car when you actually know the AAA tow truck guy. We are really, really hoping to figure out the problems before long.
Christmas morning was awesome. The kids were so excited the night before that they didn't fall asleep until midnight. Because they were up so late they slept in until 7:30. They opened up their presents and we had a yummy breakfast of cinnamon rolls, and breakfast quiche. The older boys got Legos, and golf clubs, P.J's and a new swim suit (that is for hawaii we are going in May). The only thing Jence wanted this year was a boat. He wanted the kind you can float in the bathtub. I got him two and he wanted to take a bath right away. We plopped him in the bathtub before breakfast. He was loving his boats. Kate got a doll house for her 18 inch dolls. This doll craze is getting a little out of control, but she loves her dolls and now she has a place for all her doll stuff to go, it will hopefully help her room stay tidy. She also got a swim suit, and a salon chair for her doll to sit in. All in all it was a perfect Christmas! We woke up to a beautiful fresh white blanket of snow. It was magical! I only have a few pictures of the kids because I didn't want to torture them and take about fifty photos like a would have wanted to. They just wanted to play with their toys and weren't interested in having their picture taken. It was Christmas and so I just got one or two pictures. I really wish I would have gotten one with all of them together. I don't know why I always forget to do a group picture.
