Christmas update

Wow, what a wonderful Christmas we have had this year.  It has come and gone so quickly it almost feels like a dream.  It is nice however, now that the kids are back to school.  I loved having the break from homework, and not getting them off to school in in the mornings..... but it is nice to have my routine back.    But it really was a wonderful month, and we did a lot of fun activities with the kids.  As you can see from the photo one of the favorite Christmas traditions is visiting Santa.  I work really hard each year trying to get a photo op with this guy.  I know we can always catch him at the mall, but lets face it, the mall is one place I try my hardest to avoid at this time of year.  So, I decided to take the kids to the tree house museum for their cookies with Santa night.  What I didn't realize is that there are just to many kids at this event to get to individually meet Santa, so instead they just let the kids ask questions in a big group setting.  So then we got this invite from our old realtor to come to this "Meet Santa and Movie Night" at the theatres. I talked Dan into going.  We waited in a short line to see Santa and just when it was our turn Benjamin refused to even go near Santa.  I really don't blame him, Santa would seem pretty intimidating to me if I were three.  I got a great photo with the three other kids, and then photoshoped Benjamin into the picture.  Honestly what would I do with out photoshop!  I don't know how my parents ever got decent pictures of us.  It turned out to be super fun.  I got my elusive Santa photo, and the kids got to see a darling movie "Wreck it Ralph".  Looks like Santa got to see the kids once again this year, we will have to wait and see if he brings them what they asked for!
