Here are a few photo's of the three older kids before they headed out to our neighborhood Trunk or Treat. All three kids were super excited to get their costumes on, and they all got a lot of candy. I can't believe how grown up Kate looks in her photo, I think this is the first year she wasn't a princess of some kind. She looks cute in her darling witch costume. I was surprised that she picked being a witch this year, when she was younger she was really frightened of witches (thanks to the Wizard Of Oz movie). Kirk's costume was a practical choice. He already had the Indiana Jones whip, hat, and bag from a birthday party. We lucked out and found the rest of the costume at kid to kid. I knew Benjamin had be one of the characters from Toy Story. He is literally obsessed with those movies. We lucked out again and found a great woody costume at Kid to Kid. I also found the adorable cowboy boots there too. This year we did really well by shopping at the thrift stores. Other years, we haven't had such great luck. I guess the secret is to buy early. I got these costumes back in September, and I'm glad I did. If I hadn't gotten them before Jence was born, the kids would be using a sheet, and going as a ghost! Also here is a photo I took of Jence today. I took this from our living room couch. I used a blanket and some pillows to prop him up. I think it turned out really good, but don't be too impressed, I had to take about fifty photos, and ended up with three good shots. Well I guess that's all apart of the learning curve.
